Last night I wrote a post and pressed publish and it promptly vanished, I tried and tried but to find it, but to no avail.
I then tried to answer the comments I had from the day before, well I managed to get one off to Peter and after that the computer said it couldn't find blogspot, so I thought I would email instead, and the computer said it couldn't find @bigpond, so I gave up and went to bed.
Well much to my surprise overnight it decided to publish my post, thanks for the comments, but I don't know what happened to the emails.
An early start was made on the cupboards and all was going well, when I had to go and get some more supplies. Well, when I returned Walter had decided to fix one of the pot drawers which was a little hard to close. Well time has passed, we have had dinner and the pot drawer is still sitting on the floor. I have managed to get one coat of paint on the other cupboards, and fingers crossed we should be finished tomorrow and have a functioning kitchen again, ready for any of the family who will be here for Easter.
Of course I'm not sure any of them will be coming as it has been reported that the price of fuel/gas is going to $1.40 a litre. Add that to the usual price rise of food over the Easter break, and it has made going anywhere out of reach of lots of families. The Easter break runs into our school holidays so it wont be until after that, that prices will get back to "normal" whatever normal is.
I have some other "Walter stories", but will save them for another day

I don't do as much for Easter in the way of dinner as I do the other holidays. Both sons have to work that Sunday. I'm fixing a ham and I'll see if they want to drop around for leftovers.
