Well I have managed to change my profile, but it has landed in the wrong place and I also wanted to change the photo but for the life of me I can't figure out how.
Marcus did give me the directions but somehow it is beyond me and the more I have tried the more confused I get, so HELP somebody please!!!!!!

Thanks Merle for the encouragement, I get a bit overwhelmed and then the brain doesn't absorb anything, so it is best for me to leave and try again later
To change the photo in your profile Jacqui, you need the "URL" of a suitable photo, the easiest way to get this is to open blogger- new post- click the picture icon on the far right of the post window, click browse and select the picture you have chosen, click upload and when "done" appears download the picture.
Now go to "edit html" you will find a line of print there ending with jpg, find the start of the description of the photo and highlight from there to and including jpg.
It will be everything within the quote marks "........."that's your URL copy it to Word, open your blogger - edit profile, scroll down to Photograph and paste the URL from Word in the space provided.
Save changes and it's done, by the way when you move away from the New Post where you are just putting a URL up it will close, that's OK you don't need to post the picture.
You might have to print this out and read it as you are going along, good luck.
