Not a lot to write about today, apart from to say it was another glorious autumn day., I could stand it being like this all the time.

I hope these RANDOM THOUGHTS haven't already been posted by Peter.....

Always keep your words soft and sweet, just in case you have to eat them.

Always read stuff that will make you look good if you die in the middle of it.

Drive carefully. It's not only cars that can be recalled by their maker.

If you lend someone $20, and never see that person again, it was probably worth it.

It may be that your sole purpose in life is simply to serve as a warning to others.

Never buy a car you can't push.

Never put both your feet in your mouth at the same time, because then you wont have a leg to stand on

The early worm gets eaten by the bird, so sleep late.

When everything's coming your way, your in the wrong lane.

Birthdays are good for, the more you have the longer you live.

The truly happy person is one that can enjoy the scenery on a detour.

Happiness comes through doors you didn't even know you left open.

Have an awesome day, and know that someone has thought about you today.

Nah, I've seen a few of them but don't recall using any of them, we are getting a cold snap at the moment, doesn't happen often up here.

Hi Jacqui ~~ I posted them awhile back,
but it doesn't matter.
Also I just posted some that Peter had used before. Again, no problem.
Cheers, Merle.

Hi again Jacqui ~~ Bite your tongue!!!
Fancy saying gum trees are boring !!
They are magnificent, and what a tree should look like. Wish I had a photo to post. Cheers again, Merle.

Sorry Merle, I know there are some superb gum trees, like the river, ghost, and of course those in "the valley of the gaints" in Walpole, WA. But for the most part they are all the same colour. After seeing all the glorious colous everywhere you look, all the different sorts of trees, Ash, Maple, Aspen, Birch, Elm, oak to name but a few, in Germany and the US, I must hold onto my beleif that gum trees are, in the main, boring. luv jacqui
